Mindshare has exposed LA audiences to some of the country’s brightest and most creative minds since 2006.
Mindshare’s main event is held every month and includes a tantalizing mix of eclectic short-form presentations. The decadent gathering combines quality intellectual ingredients with leading science, art, lifestyle, content, and games. Mindshare is not your typical party; they are intrigued by the transformational cross-pollination that arises from gathering individuals who might not otherwise interact.
This May Mindshare LA celebrates 50 months of consecutive mind bending events with a one-of-a-kind weekend conference gathering the top speakers, presenters, and entertainers in its history. Proud to have sparked inspiration among some of the liveliest minds in Los Angeles for over four years, the team is excited to bring back the thought leaders of LA for a weekend of enlightened debauchery and inspiration – this tagline creates a celebratory but mindful atmosphere leaving you inspired and energized. The theme of the conference is “What comes next…” sparking conversations about the future of science, technology, art, society, and the world. The event will conclude with an unveiling of the next steps for the Mindshare LA community and brand.
The brainchild of community organizer and culture curator Douglas Campbell (pictured below), Mindshare LA has grown from humble beginnings to become a cultural phenomena among both academic and artistic people looking to get inspired and meet new people. Douglas is also the founder of Syyn Labs, a creative collection that spun out from Mindshare LA and has been coined “The League of Extraordinary Nerds” by Fast Company Magazine.
