The California Music Festival and AIDS Walk will be a fun, family day complete with some of L.A.’s best Food Trucks, free carnival games and rides, great performances in Griffith Park and a 70’s Boogie Night Concert featuring KC and the Sunshine Band at the Greek Theatre and much more, hosted by Magic Johnson and your favorite K-EARTH 101 DJ’s.
KC and the Sunshine Band will perform his chart-topping hits such as “That’s The Way (I Like IT)”, “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty,” and “I’m Your Boogie Man,” among many more. The night will also feature superstars of the 70s including Cheryl Lynn, Thelma Houston, A Tribute to Don Cornelius and Soul Train and Heatwave.

Family Fun Festival in Griffith Park opens with live California music all-day long. Dance in the park to the music of the Beatles, Beach Boys, Disco, a Latin Explosion plus a comedy stage. This years new free carnival rides include a zip line, bungee jumping, a Ferris Wheel, Pirate Ship Ride, Giant Slide, Climbing Wall, Game Booths and the Magic Johnson Free Throw Toss are all included in the bash. Free carnival games will be non-stop plus you can get your face painted, add an airbrushed tattoo and even sit down with a psychic.
The free food village this year includes 20 famous food trucks including: Don Chow Tacos, Fishlips Sushi, Baby’s Badass Burgers, Smokin’ Willie’s BBQ, Cousin’s Maine Lobster, PBJ’s and much more. Kick-back and relax with free food while listening to music tucked in the shade of the walnut, mahogany and oak trees in the largest municipal park in the United States.

Then it’s a memorial 3k AIDS Walk thru America’s largest urban park ending at the Greek Theatre. As the Festival continues, families and friends will come together to enjoy fun, food, music and camaraderie. Our 3K California AIDS Walk takes you through Griffith Park. This low-stress stroll will begin and end at the Greek Theater with plenty of entertainment and refreshments along the way.

AHF and K-EARTH 101’s ’70s Boogie Night at the Greek! Nothing but stars singing non-stop hits plus costume contests, dance-offs, a very special tribute to Don Cornelius and Soul Train and even more. With the AIDS Healthcare Foundation Festival right outside its front doors, the Greek Theatre will open and the music will begin. For three hours, enjoy some of music’s biggest stars under the stars at the iconic Greek presented by AHF and K-EARTH 101. Registered walkers will get weekly updates on the concert line-up. Every walker will receive a free event t-shirt.
