The Proud Bird Restaurant

June 15, 2012 — Leave a comment

A tribute to the evolution of modern aviation, The Proud Bird Restaurant is located right next to one of Los Angeles International Airport’s (LAX) approach runways, affording diners a one-of-a-kind, front-row view of airplanes coming in for a landing.

Walk around the lawn to get an up-close and personal look at each airplane and learn about its history. Watch as pilots navigate all types of aircraft in one of the nations busiest airports.

The dinner menu offers a selection of traditional entrées from Prime Rib and Filet Mignon to Shrimp Scampi and Salmon. The lunch menu is comprised of hot and cold sandwiches and a variety of fresh salads.

The most versatile and decadent meal of the week, Sunday brunch with family and friends is a great way to enjoy gourmet food on a laid back weekend. Linger over homemade waffles, have a hearty starter of an omelet with crispy bacon, sip a glass of Champagne, or dive into a succulent plate of crab legs. Anything goes at this not-quite-breakfast, not-quite-lunch event. The buffet offers a number of wonderful options to satisfy the most discerning of palates, including made-to-order pasta, fresh seafood, carving stations, decadent desserts and more. Sunday Brunch is served Sunday from 9:00 am to 3 pm.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of aviation history from the comfort of the patio or dinning room. The Proud Bird Restaurant is a unique dining experience for those looking to grab a bite before or after their flight and for airplane enthusiasts.
