Follow Up: Disney California Adventure Park

August 3, 2012 — Leave a comment

Disney has done it again and delivered on their reputation as the happiest place on Earth. With a little magic and a lot of fun, the parks newest land transports you to the arid desert through a rock tunnel making up Ornament Valley from the Pacific Wharf.

Cars Land at Disney California Adventure  is an incredible 12-acre expansion inspired by the Disney•Pixar movie Cars. The park is huge and very authentic, I think they even recreated the hot desert sun the day I visited. But the cars ride is a great way to cool off!

This is truly a place where kids can pretend to be adults as they drive speeding race cars down a treacherous track and adults can be kids again as they run around and eat cotton candy.

The layout of Cars Land is one of looking down the main street of Radiator Springs, U.S.A., as seen in the original Cars film. The main street is Route 66 coming in from the Golden State area, across from the Golden Vine Winery.

The end of Route 66 is the courthouse/firehouse where the street splits.

The all-new attractions include:

Radiator Springs Racers

Luigi’s Flying Tires

Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree

Flo’s V8 Café

Cozy Cone Motel

Fillmore’s Taste-In

Aside from attractions, Cars Land has dining and shopping venues as well. Visit for a family friendly day at Disney’s latest adventure.
