Navitat Wrightwood is tucked away in the rugged San Gabriel Mountains just a short 75-mile drive from downtown Los Angeles, but a world away from the busy city, the site simultaneously offers solitude and adventure in southern California’s playground.
“Navitat” combines “navigation” with “habitat;” two words that express the passion and relate to the adventures they provide. Navitat offers one 3.5-hour tour experience that includes 10 zip lines, 4 bridges, 3 rappels, and 4 short hikes. Together with your two highly trained Canopy Guides and other Navitat guests, you’ll enjoy the trill of a lifetime and gain an entirely new perspective of Southern California’s forests.
The Zipline Canopy Tour will send you soaring through the sky as you travel from one tree platform to the next. Slow down and take in the sight’s from their artfully crafted suspended sky bridges, and get your blood pumping as you step over the edge of a platform and rappel to the ground below. Along the way, your Guides will share insights on the environment and local history, ensuring you’ll walk away with a greater appreciation for the canopy.
Their courses fit perfectly with the land, they are designed to highlight the land’s natural beauty.
Sustainability in their canopy tours is part of their original game plan. Navitat has deep expertise in designing courses that fit seamlessly into their natural environment, leaving the smallest footprint on the land. They use environmentally sound products and available timbers on site whenever possible.
