This Valentine’s Day weekend, Del Frisco’s Grille will be a place for lovers with cocktails, brunch, entrees, and dessert for Santa Monica sweethearts. On Saturday and Sunday, the Grille will offer a romantic brunch complete with Cupid’s Cocktails for those whose first love is a tasty libation. Cupid’s Cocktail is $10.50 or $21 for a brunch carafe, and hits the sweet spot with a mix of Stoli Razberi, POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice, and orange juice.

All weekend, the Grille will also feature a 6 oz. Filet and Lobster Tail for $44 and a Prime Rib for $41, paired with a Triple Chocolate Decadence for dessert for $9. This divine treat is made with a triple chocolate brownie, pudding, fudge, a chocolate heart – and a little bit of love.

Introducing the first-ever OFF THE HOOK Santa Monica Seafood Festival, a seafood tasting and community awareness event on the Santa Monica Pier in celebration of National Seafood Month.

The event will bring the city’s finest chefs together to present dishes with their favorite underwater ingredients while raising funds and awareness for the sustainable seafood movement through a partnership with the Aquarium of the Pacific’s Seafood for the Future program.

Presented by Shock Top, attendees will enjoy all-you-can-eat seafood tastings, beer gardens, live music, interactive displays, cooking demos, oyster shucking competition, educational programming, with topics such as “What is ‘Local’ Seafood,” “History of Fishing on the Pier,” “How We Can Support Local Fisherman,” and “Understanding Where Your Fish Comes From,” as well as other marine-inspired activities.

Vegan Street Fair is an annual vegan food celebration where local vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants and vendors come together to serve you bite-size portions of vegan eats all in one place. The best part? All bite-size portions are $3 max and entrance is FREE!

Taste Of Italy

The sixth-annual Taste of Italy, a cultural-gastronomic event to benefit the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles (IAMLA), will take place in downtown Los Angeles. Taste of Italy showcases over fifty of the region’s best restaurants and Italian and California-Italian wineries, as well as music entertainment, cooking demonstrations, and celebrity appearances.

Participating restaurants will include: Valentino, Drago Centro, Locanda Del Lago, Il Fornaio, GROM, and Celestino. Approximately 100 world-class wines will be served by participants such as Casa Torelli, Le Vigne, Mazzocco, Ventura Limoncello, and more. For a complete list of participants visit click here. The Cooking Demo stage will feature master chef Nico Chessa of Valentino and DeStefano Cheese, among others.

Taste of Italy’s entertainment lineup includes the female retro vocalist trio Swing Dolls, performances by LA Opera, and the sultry sounds of Frank Sinatra by Nick D’Egidio. La Dolce Vita will entertain with the most popular Italian pop songs, while the Lorenzo Grassi Group will showcase modern Italian jazz.
