The Chocolate & Art Show is currently one of the biggest underground art shows in Los Angeles, with over 900 people in attendance! Free chocolate fondue and live music performances plus art from over 100 of LA’s most amazing underground artists.

KGB is now accepting art of all mediums for submission and table spaces for vendors. Submit pics of your work for consideration! Must be able to drop off work three days before the event (Tuesday, July 15), from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and take home between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm on the following day (Sunday, July 20). If you are coming from far away, you can bring your artwork the same day before the show from 10:00 am to 1:0o pm. The curator will need to talk to you before.

As for the name? Who doesn’t like art and who doesn’t appreciate chocolate? NO ONE. Two things that will never go out of style. The show has now developed into an array of mediums happening at once to stimulate every creative mood at once. From live body painting, live painters, the live music, the vendors, and the art, there is something for everyone.

Te’kila Hollywood Valentine’s Day

In deviating from the stuffy prix-fixe menus that most restaurants will be offering on Valentine’s Day, Te’Kila Hollywood is changing the game and wants couples to drink… tequila that is! While the a la carte menu will be available, including such favorites as the fajitas, the “Tequila for 2” includes the following:

  • Choose from Milagro, Patron, or Avion for a 2-for-1 special for couples from 6 – 10 pm
  • The Te’Kila Margarita and other signature drinks will also be 2-for-1

Te’kila is LA’s go-to tequila oasis, boasting over 150 different bottles. The daily happy hour – featuring made-to-order margaritas – is a draw for visitors and locals alike.

Designed by Kris Keith of Spacecraft, Te’kila immerses guests in an authentic Mexican cantina fitted with antique fixtures and handmade furniture. Chocolate wooden walls accommodate art pieces from Mexico and LA-based artists. With themed daily specials ranging from Margarita Mondays to Fajita Thursdays, there is something for everyone looking to experience upscale casual Mexican, quality cocktails, and a venue as unique as Hollywood itself.

Wokcano Presents “I Heart Santa Monica” V-Day Bash

I Heart Santa Monica V-Day Bash will bring the community together to celebrate the city and spread love for Santa Monica’s beachside oasis by giving back and having a fun, no pressure Valentine’s Day gathering at Wokcano. With music from DJ Frankie, photo booth, raffle with fabulous prizes, hosted hors d’eourves, cocktail specials and more, the event will be a big draw for locals looking for V-Day plans.
