Turkey Trot Los Angeles returns to Downtown Los Angeles on Thanksgiving morning, inviting runners ages two and up to participate in friendly competition and family fun for Turkey Day.

Featuring 5K and 10K courses that start and finish in front of the City Hall, thousands of runners will be dressed in costumes of turkeys, pilgrims, and pies will follow a scenic course through Bunker Hill and Spring Street passing by such sites as the new Broad Museum, Grand Park, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and MOCA.

Families can bring little ones for the “Widdle Wobble” (ages 2-12), which is a fun run around Grand Park and features a fantastic kid zone. Participants can also enjoy memorable photo opportunities with the 20 ft. tall turkey in front of the City Hall finish line.

This event not only brings the fun before the feast, but also offers a chance to give back to those in need. Participants are encouraged to donate time or money to The Midnight Mission, the official non-profit partner of Turkey Trot Los Angeles. Funds raised will help to remove obstacles to self-sufficiency and provide the accountability and structure that people who are experiencing homelessness need to rejoin their communities.
