Street Food Cinema is the hit outdoor entertainment event series that combines four carefully curated experiences into one amazing event with popular outdoor movies, street food, audience games, live music, and more!

This summer, Street Food Cinema is bringing more movies, more food, and more fun to Los Angeles. In addition to their regular season, Street Food Cinema is partnering with the City of Glendale for July and August to bring this summer event series to downtown Glendale’s Central Park. Street Food Cinema: Glendale Series will further enrich Glendale’s expanding focus to bring unique and exciting entertainment to the city.

Los Angeles is home to numerous talented emerging music artists. Street Food Cinema carefully selects bands to perform before each movie. Street Food Cinema is an avenue for musicians to introduce their music to thousands of Angelenos.

Adding to interactive experiences of comedy and gamesStreet Food Cinema is also excited to announce the launch of a new app!  The Street Food Cinema app allows fans to stay connected on “SFC Live” and chat with other event attendees. Forgot a bottle opener? Want feedback on what truck has the best burger? No problem! Just sign in to the app and chat away with people at Street Food Cinema in real-time. The app also allows guests to purchase tickets, get the latest updates with a live Twitter feed, and view videos and photos from current and past events.

Street Food Cinema is the hit summer event series in Los Angeles, featuring cool outdoor movies, tasty food trucks, live music, interactive games, and more! The Summer Season spans eighteen weeks, events are held every Saturday until September 14th with thousands of Angelenos.

Always on the grass, Street Food Cinema is two events in one: an outdoor picnic that evolves into a live music performance and outdoor movie with lots of fun in between. Bring blankets, pillows, chairs, drinks, and snacks.

The Street Food Cinema experience starts with the most delicious food trucks in town like Kogi BBQCousins Maine Lobster, and A ROCKin ICE, lined up to serve fresh, hot food that you take right to your picnic blanket.

Then listen to live music from emerging Los Angeles music artists right on the grass.

Street Food Cinema is based mainly at Exposition Park throughout the summer with special nights at LA State Historic Park and select locations! Check event listings. It’s fido friendly, fido approved, so bring your four legged friends!

The Yamashiro Farmers Market is a seasonal farmers market organized by City Farm with a pretty spectacular view at the Hollywood hilltop Japanese restaurant Yamashiro. The market includes a wide selection of vendors selling fresh produce, great wine, coffee, jewelry, and unique cuisine.

Hillside Family Farms will be ferrying fresh produce from San Diego County, with fresh berries from New Era Farms. Heirloom LA, CoolHaus ice cream, Flatiron food truck and Bolani East West Gourmet will set up at the market, as well as Hepp’s Salt, Longshot Espresso, and Dolce Monachelli’s cakes. Yamashiro’s Pagoda Bar will be open for drinks.

Yamashiro executive chef Brock Kleweno is debuting a revamped menu of Middle Eastern-meets-Asian pitas: preserved lemon and honey chicken with pistachio-sesame sauce; merguez braised lamb with shiso tatziki; harissa shrimp with cucumber relish; and “shwarma”-marinated beef with citrus tahini.
