During your visit, a knowledgeable guide will lead your small group on a behind-the-scenes look at the longest operating and only remaining major studio in Hollywood. Depending on how much time you have and how much you want to experience, Paramount Pictures offers two exclusive tour options:

  • Paramount Pictures Studio Tour (2 Hours): An intimate, behind-the-scenes look of the overall Paramount legacy and studio lot. You’ll be chauffeured in comfort to numerous spots around the lot by a guide in a shaded tour cart. You’ll also have plenty of time to stretch your legs as you explore sound stages, the backlot, iconic Hollywood landmarks, and more.

  • Paramount PIctures VIP Studio Tour (4 1/2 Hours): Designed for the movie buff, this tour includes all the wonderful sights of the regular tour and kicks it up a notch. You’ll gain exclusive VIP access to their archive facilities and receive a hands-on look at props and set items from past productions with a unique photo opportunity. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary lunch and feel like you’re part of the movie industry.

As the longest operating and only remaining major studio in Hollywood, Paramount Pictures has been on the ground flood of every major development in film – from the advent of motion pictures, to the emergence of television through the digital revolution. During their 100-year history, they have served as the production site for thousands of notable movies and TV shows.

Their studio lot has grown considerably over the years, expanding from 26 acres and four stages to 65 acres and thirty stages. They’ve also constructed other impressive sites like the massive Blue Sky Tank and their one-of-a-king New York Street, which features ten district city neighborhood backdrops.

When you visit the lot, not only will you see where some of the most celebrated movies and television series were made, but also see how they continue to produce iconic motion pictures from the next century. At Paramount Studios, you’ll get to wander through the past and see the future at the same time.

When you come see the Paramount Pictures lot, your visit isn’t complete without a stop in the Studio Store. Located on the famous Paramount Paseo, this is the place to find a little something to take home so you’ll always remember the great time you had on their lot.

They offer complete lines of branded clothing and jackets and all types of Paramount souvenirs. Their inventory is constantly updated with seasonal items that are perfect for yourself or as a gift. On top of everything else, they keep all the latest Paramount movie releases in stock, in both DVD and Blu-ray, including a large selection of hard-to-find classics.

Nestled in the Studio Store, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is the place where you can enjoy one of their specialty beverages, including lattes, espressos, cappuccinos, teas, and many other coffee house drinks. Daily fresh-baked pastries for breakfast and delicious kosher sandwiches and snacks will delight you, and offer a great way to stay energized during your tour.

The 5th Annual Los Angeles Beer Festival, brought to you by Drink Eat Play, returns for another day filled with beer, food, and music. The event will feature dozens of international and domestic beers, LA’s most popular food trucks, and two great bands.

Metal Shop: A funny Spinal Tap type parody on the 80s and early 90s hair band era. Group covers material by Guns N Roses, AC/DC, Quiet Riot, Poison, Motley Crue, Twisted Sister, and many more.

Howl at the Moon: Known as the world’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll dueling piano show.

Black Crystal Wolf Kids: The world’s first indie-rock tribute band, paying costumed, audience-participation-friendly homage to the best Coachella-friendly music of both right now (MGMT, Vampire Weekend, Phoenix) and indie-rock’s storied past (The Pixies and Pavement).

Tickets include unlimited beer and parking, food is sold separately. There are three free lots, one on Gower north of Melrose, and two on Van Ness north of Melrose. There will be an after party at Wirtshaus, show your wristband and get a free Bavarian pretzel!
