The 2nd Annual MAINopoly: Taste of Main Street event will take place at the street’s best food and beverage establishments to raise funds for Summer SOULstice and Heal the Bay. MAINopoly is a fun, interactive community event that mirrors the classic board game and gives participants a culinary walking tour of Main Street’s finest restaurants, juiceries, ice cream stores, coffee shops and more.

Attendees will receive food tastings in exchange for “MAINopoly” dollars, which will include items such as fresh fish ceviche from Enterprise Fish Co., gelato samples from Dolcenero Gelato, tuna tartare from Areal Restaurant, cold press juice samples from Pressed Juicery and more. Select restaurants will also be offering drink specials, including $4 draft beers and $5 cocktails and $5 shots for those with the official event wristband.

Other activities include beer gardens and the “Go to Jail” VIP lounge and Beer Garden sponsored by Shock Top with a DJ, photo booth, drinks, food, picnic tables, games and more. All participants are encouraged to dress in “Monopoly”-inspired or patriotic attire and to hit all of the locations on their game board to be entered to win a “Taste of Main Street” prize package.

The Chestnut Club

The Chestnut Club is a modern cocktail bar by the hospitality team of Mario Guddemi, Sal Aurora, Pablo Moix & Steve Livigni (Black Market Liquor Bar, Scopa Italian Roots). The inviting and intimate space offers a number of seating options ranging from high tops, long leather banquettes, 4-12 person Chesterfield booths and an intimate private room that seats up to 15 guests.

The beverage program created by Pablo Moix features classically inspired cocktails ranging from the fresh and aromatic Spanish style gin & tonics to the masculine, spirit forward El Camino and Bullocks Wilshire. The spirit selection is perhaps the most extensive in Southern California, offering over 400 uniquely chosen spirits, liqueurs and fortified wines.

The 6th Annual SANTA Monica Pub Crawl, benefiting the Westside Food Bank, returns! SMPC has quickly become one of the city’s most cherished annual events, with more than 6,000 crawlers in attendance (and climbing) in 2013. Throughout the past five years, the SMPC has raised more than a quarter of a million pounds of food and over $75,000 to help those in need during the holidays through a rewarding partnership with the Westside Food Bank.

More than 30 bars and restaurants across the city of Santa Monica come together to offer food and drink specials to those with SMPC wristbands. Pub Crawl participants are encouraged to dress in Santa/Holiday attire, so the streets of Santa Monica are filled with merry and good cheer.
