The Turkey Trot Los Angeles invites runners ages ten and up to participate in friendly competition and family fun in downtown Los Angeles on Thanksgiving morning. This event not only brings the fun before the feast, but also offers a chance to give back to those in need during the holidays through the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and other local charities. Families can bring little ones for the “Widdle Wobble” (ages 2-12), which allows children to run for fun around Grand Park. Participants also get to meet for memorable photo opportunities with the 20 foot tall turkey in front of the finish line at City Hall.

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks, and Turkey Trot Los Angeles invites all participants to give back during the holidays through the official charities: Los Angeles Food Bank, Homeboy Industries, and Brooks and Brooks Foundation. Participants can donate to any of the official charities and support in the following ways: bring non-perishable food for the LA Food Bank, clothes and blankets for Brooks and Brooks Foundation and purchase holiday pies from Homeboy Bakery!
