The Wildlife Learning Center rescues animals and provides outreach and on site education in wildlife biology. The outreach program is the largest in Los Angeles with classes taught by their friendly and enthusiastic biologists. The center is nestled in an old olive grove where more than 70 different species of rescued and zoo-born wild animals call this shady, natural environment home.

Stroll along the paths and enjoy viewing the animals or sign up for a more intimate experience with a customized tour or animal interaction. Be sure to catch their trainer talks happening on the hour every hour starting at 12 pm. During their trainer talks one of their staff members will introduce an animal to meet up close and sometimes even touch!

If you are looking for a special experience your children will never forget, then sign up for the Zoology Camp. Campers can spend a week with the biologist counselors and all the species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods, learning about animal care, training and handling, enrichment, and the presenting of animals.
