All Angelenos including kids are invited to this semiannual fundraiser. No experience or formal dress is required! Grammy-nominated band The California Feetwarmers and DJ Ed Mattiuzzi will provide entertainment.

Enjoy a 3-flight sparkling wine tasting by famed Silverlake Wine and croquet games for your enjoyment brought to you by the Pasadena Croquet Association. Local gourmet cheese purveyor Say Cheese will be offering guest an array of picnic baskets, available for pre-order. Oyster lovers are also in luck with the renowned Oyster Gourmet bringing its refreshing and flavorful selection of the delicious mollusk to the Park. Brunch will be available from food trucks, Postcards Caribbean and Coolhaus, and guests are welcome to bring their own picnic and blanket.

The Chestnut Club

The Chestnut Club is a modern cocktail bar by the hospitality team of Mario Guddemi, Sal Aurora, Pablo Moix & Steve Livigni (Black Market Liquor Bar, Scopa Italian Roots). The inviting and intimate space offers a number of seating options ranging from high tops, long leather banquettes, 4-12 person Chesterfield booths and an intimate private room that seats up to 15 guests.

The beverage program created by Pablo Moix features classically inspired cocktails ranging from the fresh and aromatic Spanish style gin & tonics to the masculine, spirit forward El Camino and Bullocks Wilshire. The spirit selection is perhaps the most extensive in Southern California, offering over 400 uniquely chosen spirits, liqueurs and fortified wines.

Taste Of Italy

The sixth-annual Taste of Italy, a cultural-gastronomic event to benefit the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles (IAMLA), will take place in downtown Los Angeles. Taste of Italy showcases over fifty of the region’s best restaurants and Italian and California-Italian wineries, as well as music entertainment, cooking demonstrations, and celebrity appearances.

Participating restaurants will include: Valentino, Drago Centro, Locanda Del Lago, Il Fornaio, GROM, and Celestino. Approximately 100 world-class wines will be served by participants such as Casa Torelli, Le Vigne, Mazzocco, Ventura Limoncello, and more. For a complete list of participants visit click here. The Cooking Demo stage will feature master chef Nico Chessa of Valentino and DeStefano Cheese, among others.

Taste of Italy’s entertainment lineup includes the female retro vocalist trio Swing Dolls, performances by LA Opera, and the sultry sounds of Frank Sinatra by Nick D’Egidio. La Dolce Vita will entertain with the most popular Italian pop songs, while the Lorenzo Grassi Group will showcase modern Italian jazz.

Free Jazz Concert Series at Hollywood & Highland kicks off on July 1st with jazz great, Pete Escovedo. With sponsorship by kjazz 88.1 FM, fine wines by Stella Rosa, and food by Wolfgang Puck Catering, the Wine & Jazz Concert Series will take place every Tuesday evening in the Central Courtyard (2nd Level).

Each of the five weeks features a popular act, closing with legendary Latin jazz artist Pancho Sanchez on July 29th. Since the series’ inception, Hollywood & Highland, Hollywood’s prominent retail and entertainment epicenter and kjazz 88.1 FM have raised nearly $350,000 for Project Angel Food.

Attendees can complement their visit with premier shopping at over 70 brand-name retailers as well as the destination’s distinctive dining and nightlife offerings. With a parking fee of only $2 for two hours with validation, H&H visitors can choose from a variety of selections including The Grill on Hollywood, Cabo Wabo Cantina, Hard Rock Cafe, Lucky Strike Lanes, and Ohm.
